Indianola Football Has Crucial Matchup with North Polk at Home
The Indianola football team is trying to keep their unblemished home record over the last several years with a crucial district matchup with North Polk at Indianola Stadium tonight. The Indians are 1-1 in district play after defeating Boone last week, and match up with a North Polk team that has yet to lose a game this season. Indians head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports the Comets boast one of the top one-two punches with their quarterback and running back, and controlling the line of scrimmage will again be crucial, as if you can hit them early before they can get to full speed that is the best way to defend their offense.
The game will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rob Hawkins on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
