The PCM volleyball team went 2-0 at a home triangular on Thursday.

The Mustangs defeated Cardinal 2-0 (21-9, 21-6). PCM started off the match with six ace serves from junior Tori Lindsay. Lindsay went 15-15 in the contest with six aces, 13 assists, and five digs. Addyson Pederson led the team in that match with five kills while Rebecca DeVries and Libby Winters both had four.

PCM then went on to defeat Woodward-Granger 2-0 (21-18, 21-16). Coach Sarah DeVries said the Hawks had some good hitters, but watching them play Cardinal allowed her team to know how to set up their defense and she said their tough serving and aggressive net play kept them ahead in the match. Against Woodward-Granger Lindsay went 9-9 serving with four aces and ten assists while Addi Steenhoek went 8-8 with an ace and 13 digs. DeVries had six kills in the match and three aces.

The Mustangs improve to 14-9 overall and will next compete on Tuesday at Grand View Christian.
