The PCM boys and girls cross country teams will compete at the Heart of Iowa Conference meet on Monday. 

The meet will be hosted by Nevada and held at Hickory Grove Park in Colo. The Mustangs will compete alongside all eight of their conference opponents in their last meet before the state qualifier. The Mustang girls finished fourth and the boys finished eighth at the Centerville Invite on Tuesday. The #8 Mustang girls competed alongside 12 other teams and finished with 119 team points. The top finishers on the girls side for PCM were Darby DeRaad who finished 13th with a time of 20:33.30 and Lila Milani who finished 16th with a time of 21:02.60. The Mustang boys competed alongside thirteen other teams and finished with 197 team points. The top finishes on the boys side for the Mustangs were Kash Fischer who finished tied for ninth with a time of 17:14.40 and Owen Osterhaus who finished 18th with a time of 17:32.70. 

Monday’s meet in Colo will start at 4:30 pm.
