An unusually warm and dry October will have a brief reprieve from one of those conditions early this coming week. According to the National Weather Service, much cooler weather is expected starting Sunday, with the first frost of the season in the forecast on Tuesday morning. Typically, the first frost occurs around the 1st of October locally, and the first hard freeze has usually occurred by this time of the month. A bounce back into warmer weather returns by Thursday, and dry conditions are expected to last until at least next weekend.
