Indianola Boys Golf Places 11th, Tyler Santi 6th at Boys State

The Indianola boys golf team placed 11th after a 12-stroke improvement from day one to card a 651 at the state meet on Tuesday. Tyler Santi continued his steady play with a 75 for the second round in a row to finish in 6th place individually to lead the team with a 150 total over the two-day meet, Ryker Burgin shot 8 strokes better on day two to finish in 62nd with a 166, and Hayden Stockberger was just a shot behind carding a 167, and Jackson Buchanan just one more shot behind with a 168. The Indians season wraps up, and they will graduate two seniors.

Indianola Boys Golf Places 11th at state

The Indianola volleyball team swept Oskaloosa to claim an outright Little Hawkeye Conference undefeated title 3-0 Tuesday. The Indians won the first set 25-14, then 25-8, then 25-15 to dominate Osky, and with the 3-0 sweep went a perfect 21-0 in set scores in conference play. The Indians record improves to 33-4 on the season, and they will next compete in a state meet preview tournament on Saturday at Johnston.
