True Value Company has announced their Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and potential sale to rival Do It Best, however, patrons of McCoy True Value Hardware in Indianola won’t be affected by the change.

Owner Jennifer Pfeifer-Malaney tells KNIA News McCoy True Value Hardware is an independent retail store, and while their True Value wholesale supplier company has announced bankruptcy, they will continue to do business as usual as they have for the last 139 years in Indianola. Pfeifer-Malaney said the support from the community has always been stellar, and their support is always appreciated.

True Value also announced that throughout the sale and bankruptcy process, they will continue its day-to-day operations serving 4,500 independently owned retailers. Hear more on today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
