October is designated for Manufacturing Month throughout the nation. Kevin Gaul with Pella Corporation says the recognition celebrates manufacturing employees, educates youth on the merits of a manufacturing career, and highlights the importance of manufacturing to a community.

“The future of our business and our communities is dependent on a strong manufacturing sector,” said Gaul. “Manufacturing today is highly innovative and technically advanced. This is why I always encourage people to consider a career in manufacturing. The opportunities are endless, and I enjoy seeing our team members taking technology and finding unique ways to create products that best serve our customers.”
