The Pride of Indianola Marching Band is traveling to Waukee for their final two competitions of the season today, the State Marching Band and the Waukee Warrior Marching Invitational. This year’s drum majors are Katherine Peck, Peyton Wilbur, Kelsey Peterson, and Jordan LoVan, while the Color Guard Captains are Taylor Hoger and Olivia Jackson. The theme this year is “Welcome to the Afterlife” and features popular songs such as Thriller from Michael Jackson and Don’t Fear the Reaper from Blue Oyster Cult in addition to several classical songs.

Performances are today at 2:15pm for the State Marching Band Contest, and 8:30pm for the Waukee Warrior Marching Invitational.
