The Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad starts the regional round of competition on Monday with a home match against fellow Bluegrass Conference team Moravia. The Sabers have had an up and down season with a 10-15 record. Moravia comes in with a 7-15 record. Twin Cedars has two wins over the MoHawks this season, a two sets to one victory on September 3rd and a three sets to two win in a heads up dual on September 12th. Sabers Coach Shelby Miller tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Moravia will hustle after every point and that is what makes the MoHawks tough to defend.

Miller: “They are so scrappy. That’s what I remember about them, they’re an all around good team and have players that can pass and hit. We have to be ready to have the ball come back to us all the time.”

Moravia is very balanced up front and has served up 200 aces this season. The winner of tonight’s match will face the survivor of the Moulton-Udell and Mormon Trail on Wednesday.
