The Marion County Board of Supervisors will discuss the announcement of the Marion County Public Health director appointment at their meeting Tuesday morning.
The board of supervisors will discuss an agreement extension between the county, the city of Pella, and the Pella Community School District regarding the Prairie Ridge West Urban Renewal Area. Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting is appointments for the Marion County Compensation Board – Board of Supervisor Representatives and discussion of a site plan review for KLN Entertainment at Slideways in Knoxville. The board of supervisors will receive multiple reports from the county weed commissioner and approval of a client release letter for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Iowa Engineering Excellence Awards for the application for the County Highway T15 Flagler Bridge. The Marion County Board of Supervisors will also consider the acquisition of a perpetual easement and right-of-way for portions of Baldwin and Washington Streets in Otley and a federal aid funding agreement for the 186th Place Bridge Replacement Project. The meeting will conclude with a discussion and possible action on the Marion County Pledge for the Safety Action Plan – Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant and consideration of an agreement for the County Line Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project with the city of Monroe.
The Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at 9 am Tuesday morning in the county offices off of Main Street in Knoxville.
