It was a clean sweep for the Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad as the Saints beat East Union in the opening round of the class 1A regional on Monday. The Saints won all three sets that went down to the wire 25-23, 25-22 and 25-19. Gabby Overgaard had ten kills to lead the Saints attack at the net while Ashlyn Metz had six. Kianna Jackson had ten digs, Hayden Branson and Jenna Mickey had nine each, Mickey also went 10/12 serving with two aces and Jalyssa Juline was 10/11 with two aces. The Saints advance to play class 1A #1 ranked Ankeny Christian on Wednesday.
