Following two stops with the AEM Express, U.S. Representative Marianette Miller-Meeks traveled with Governor Kim Reynolds to switch to campaigning for the upcoming general election. Both spoke to a crowd on the upper floor of The Brew during the noon hour on Tuesday. State Representative Barb Kniff McCulla and State Senator Ken Rozenboom made introductions. Miller-Meeks, a two-term Republican incumbent, is running against former State Representative and Democrat Christina Bohannan in a race that has been rated by the Cook Political Report as a “toss-up.” The two had debated less than 24 hours before the visit to Pella by Miller-Meeks.
