A busy week for the fall sports teams on Eagle Lane continues this afternoon, as the ranked Pella Christian cross country teams host one of the five Class 2A State Qualifying meets at the Pella Sports Park. 

The Eagles cross country squads last ran in the Little Hawkeye Conference meet in Newton on October 14th, where both teams took fifth place. The Class 2A #13 Pella Christian boys are seeking their fourth consecutive trip to State, and will have to contend with #1 Mid-Prairie, #11 Anamosa, and #18 Mediapolis for a trip back to Fort Dodge. The #7 Pella Christian girls are trying to get back to State for the second time in three years, and will race against #2 Mid-Prairie, #10 Hudson, and #18 Grundy Center to try and secure an appearance in Fort Dodge. 

Pella Christian’s State Qualifying meet at the Pella Sports Park today is slated to begin at 4 pm.
