With a growing need for their services, the Pella Community Food Shelf started offering expanded hours this past Thursday. Those extended pickup times will continue on Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. moving forward according to Director Melissa Zula. With the addition, Zula says they are seeking additional volunteers to support Thursday hours. She says the food shelf is also in need of more supply, and encourages anyone who can to make a monetary or item donation to do so. Learn more here.
