The Indianola Public Library and City of Indianola Departments are welcoming the public tonight for the annual Library Trunk or Treat event. The event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, was moved along with Beggars Night to tonight due to the rain Wednesday evening, and Janis Comer with the library tells KNIA News the Trunk or Treat is one of their favorite events of the year, not only because they get to see the creative costumes and decorations, but the city departments compete for the coveted Silver Pumpkin Award, which is voted on by the public as to which city equipment is decorated best.
The Trunk or Treat will be at the library from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
