Absentee voting will end Monday and voting at the polls will begin Tuesday morning for the 2024 General Election.

Absentee voting will last until the end of business hours on Monday afternoon at your local auditor’s office. On Tuesday, you will be able to vote in person at your designated polling location. Polls on Election Day will be open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm and you can find your designated polling location by following this link. Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia says he always sees the most voters for presidential elections, and to be patient if there are large lines at the polls.

“We’re expecting a large turnout. I think people understand that. The lines at the polls might be a little bit longer. We obviously don’t like to have people wait in line, but there are processes we have to go through. Our poll workers do a great job and they can get people through but presidential elections are the largest turnout elections that we have, high percentages. I don’t know if we will get to 80% of our registered voters or not, but it’s going to be a big number.”

To vote, you need to bring an ID and if you need to change your address you will need to bring a piece of documentation that confirms your current residence.
