Women's Volleyball: Hamline University Pipers vs. Central College Dutch

Sustained success at the service line was key to a Central College volleyball victory over Wartburg College Friday night. The Dutch (19-7, 4-2 American Rivers Conference) downed the Knights in four sets 25-20, 25-16, 13-25, 25-17.

Central posted six aces on the night, led by three from setter Avery Rexroat, but head coach Jeanne Czipri thought the team’s aggressive serving and passing was crucial in the win. Paige Sexton and Landry Pacha both had 11 kills respectively, while Kaitlyn Koel added nine kills. Rexroat had 20 set assists and Makayla Ribble had 18. Spreading around 52 digs as a team, libero Colleen Kenney was the only Dutch player in double figures with 18.

Central celebrates Senior Day this morning at 11 am against Coe College.
