Even though the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad got out-rebounded 31-25 against A-D-M, the Panthers won the scoreboard battle yesterday 47-37. Knoxville outshot the Tigers 41% to 33% and was able for the first time this season string back-to-back wins together. Alex Abens led all scorers with 15 points, Ellie Hawkshead had six of her 11 points in the fourth quarter including the game-clincher with less than a minute to go. Knoxville improves to 4-7 on the season and hosts Newton this Tuesday.
