Two new businesses in Knoxville opened up their doors to the public this week.

Smash and Grab Burger Co. and Knox and the Hound both opened Monday. Smash and Grab is a counter serve burger restaurant located at 322 E Main St. The new restaurant offers a variety of unique smash burgers, other sandwiches, and appetizers. Knox and the Hound is located at 202 N 3rd St. and is a doggy daycare, boarding and training facility. Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery says she hopes that the community will support these businesses.

“We’re very excited. Two businesses in the same day opening in Knoxville. It’s great to see the progress and people wanting to invest in Knoxville. We hope the community supports them.”
