camping-volunteers

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock are looking for volunteers to fill positions for the spring and summer camping seasons in 2025. Volunteers will make up a team of 60 workers, and a free, full-hookup campsite will be provided at Howell Station Campground for the season in exchange for approximately 20-24 hours of service per week. Volunteer duties will include custodial work three to four days a week at the recreation areas and campgrounds, as well trail maintenance along the Volksweg Trail three days a week. Uniforms, training, and all the equipment needed for these volunteer positions will be provided. The positions run from the middle of April through the middle of October.
