A four win campaign this fall for the Knoxville Football Program is significant progress after posting just five wins in the previous four seasons. The Panthers, however, want more than just four wins moving forward and the coaching staff knowing that how many sophomores got significant playing time this fall, they are already looking forward to 2025 and beyond. However, to get to where they want to go, Coach Matt Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it starts with the offseason and weight room time and coming to open gyms and fields.

Dunkin: “We can’t just show up on Friday and expect to have success. It starts now. They have to get into the weight room and hold themselves accountable and each other accountable and get to open gyms and turfs. August will be here before we know it and we want these guys to have success and the only way to get that is starting now.”

The Panthers will have to replace several seniors who will depart this season, but Dunkin is confident in the returning players with experience.
