The Indianola School Board met in regular session Monday evening, holding their annual organizational meeting. Mack Rankin was appointed as board president, while Ben Metzger was appointed board vice president, and the board selected their various committee assignments.

The board also elected to not institute an Early Retirement Plan for this school year, and approved the year round calendar for Irving Elementary through 2027, set up a work session in January with the Iowa Association of School Boards, and created teacher leader positions. The board also heard reports from the board human resources, technology, facilities, finance, and policy committee meetings.
