Pierschbacher Funeral Home has announced expansion plans for Knoxville.
Owner John Pierschbacher purchased Knoxville’s Williams Funeral Home in October of 2023, and the Winfield Funeral Home in March of 2023, and he plans to merge the two businesses into one in the former Knoxville Schools Administration building. When finished, the 16,000 square-foot facility will serve as a funeral home, and have enough space to hold larger funerals, memorials, celebrations of life, and events. You can look for complete plans to be released soon. Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in February of this year.
Pierschbacher and his staff have a vision for their funeral facilities that honor the traditions of the past and welcome new ideas and ways to celebrate friends and loved ones. Pierschbacher started in the funeral business in 1993 working for Merrill Mosher and Martin Buck at Mosher Funeral Homes. In 1998, Pierschbacher opened his first location in Melcher-Dallas, and now operates facilities in Chariton, Knoxville, Lacona, and Milo.
There will be an open house held for the new location on Thursday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with lunch provided.
