The City of Indianola has announced the closure of East Kentucky Ave between N Jefferson and 6th Street as the work on the Kentucky Ridge Development begins utility work. The development includes 50 townhomes and a proposed future park of .19 acres located at 1100 N Jefferson Way, and during the construction the entrance to Scooter’s Coffee will still be accessible.

The work is expected to take approximately two weeks depending on weather conditions. The city asks for caution and patience from commuters during the duration of the project.
