Day two of the IGHSAU state swimming meet is today, with the Indianola girls swimming team sending a pair of relay events to compete. The Indians qualified in both the 200m and 400m Freestyle relays, with the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Olivia Costigan, Serenity Turner, Chloey Hart, and Guinevere McCusker qualified with a time of 1:48.32, while the same quartet qualified in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:55.96.

Head coach Aaron Bandy tells KNIA Sports the team stepped up and all four athletes dropped times in the state qualifier in order to get to state, so the pressure is off and they can swim freely and have their best race of the season in their final competition.
