Multiple Indianola athletes were included in the class 5A All-State and All-District teams as announced earlier this week. Senior Aspen Nelsen was selected to the class 5A All-State 1st Team. Nelsen had a stellar first round game against Dowling Catholic, with 15 kills, 18 digs, and six assists. Senior Camryn Overton was named to the 5A All-State 2nd Team, with 14 kills in the match against the Maroons.

Nelsen and Overton were also named to the class 5A West All-District team. Nelsen led Indianola throughout the season with 591 assists, adding in 324 kills, 59 aces, and 293 digs, while Overton led the team in kills with 370, while adding 56 aces and 40 blocks.
