The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council received the FY24 audit, the fee schedule for Indianola Parks and Rec and the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, eliminating family passes in favor of individual passes for the pool, and a flat fee to join parks and rec activities regardless of residency.

The council also approved an ordinance updating the fee for the collection of solid waste, approved a contract with OPN Architects for the Indianola Public Library building, held a mid-year staffing evaluation about multiple new positions within the city, and gave direction to city staff to follow a similar path to their last city manager search process from 2021.
