The PCM girls basketball team will bring back almost their entire team from last season.

Last year the Mustangs finished the season with a 15-7 overall record and only graduated one senior in Elle Davis. This year, PCM will look to put together another strong season anchored by a roster that looks almost identical from last year. PCM will return all five starters. However, junior Jorja Teeter will not be able to play most of the season due to a recent surgery. The Mustangs will look to continue getting impressive production from senior Addison Steenhoek, junior Tori Lindsay and sophomore Lila Milani who all were significant contributors last season. The Mustangs started practice last week and Head Coach Sami Allison-Rodriquez said it has been a smooth transition from last season.

“To have everyone back, but the one player, this freshman group I don’t think they know how lucky they are because it has been pretty seamless. They’re leading really well, they know what’s expected, they know the high energy. It’s just been really fun and a really fun start to the season.”

The Mustangs will start their season on Friday at Chariton.
