A band that started at Central College and made its way to the Iowa Rock and Rock Hall of Fame is hosting a reunion show this weekend.

Chris Hopkins with the band Labyrinth says a free show will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at George Daily Auditorium in Oskaloosa. Find ticket information here.

The band was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Lake Okoboji in September, but Hopkins indicates they wanted a show closer to home for a local reunion. Labyrinth’s origin can be traced back to Pella and the 1978-79 Central College Jazz band rhythm section’s first rehearsal when Hopkins, Matt Bell, and Craig Jones decided to explore the Rock ‘n’ roll genre as well. There were several false starts until the first stable version emerged which included Randy Wadle and Doug McCaulley around fall of 1979.
