The Pleasantville girls wrestling team competed in their first match of the season on Tuesday.

The Trojans competed at a tournament hosted by Sigourney and had two wrestlers compete to finish with 22 team points. Mya Pearson finished fourth at 110 pounds and picked up 11 team points while Addie Koenig finished fifth at 155 pounds to also pick up 11 team points. Pearson went 1-1 at the tournament while Koenig went 2-1.

The Trojan girls will next compete on Saturday at the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament hosted by Nevada.
