The Indianola girls swimming team was shorthanded all season long, but were still able to compete in two events to the state meet last weekend the quartet of Serenity Turner, Olivia Costigan, Chloey Hart, and Guinevere McCusker qualified in the 200 and 400 Yard Freestyle Relays.

Hart tells KNIA Sports the team is strong because they come from many different schools in the area, and the bond between them will last because they just get to be themselves at practice each and every day.

The Indians graduated a senior class of seven.
