The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad is under a new coach this season Kale Rodrigues takes over the helm and will have six seniors on the roster. The Sabers went 6-12 last season and Rodrigues tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is trying to build trust in his team, so much so he does the same conditioning drills as the players do.

Rodrigues: “Since day one they understand that I have them, and will support them all the way. And what I do and some people think it’s crazy is I do all of the push ups, the running and lift as they do. Because I won’t make them do anything that I won’t do.”

As far as returning players, Holden Roberts returns scoring 11.8 points per game as does Kaden Kloster, Wyatt Patty, and Gavin Clark. Dallas Smith is also back as he was 2nd on the team last season in rebounds with 101. The Sabers will get the season underway at GMG on December 3rd.
