The Marion County Board of Supervisors will discuss the EMS Advisory Council on Tuesday.

At the last meeting, Marion County Attorney Jared Harmon presented the board with a list of those who could make up this council since EMS has now been declared an essential service in the county. No action was taken on the matter that was done out of transparency. Also at the meeting, there will be discussion and possible action regarding an extension agreement between the City of Pella, Marion County, and the Pella Community School District for the Prairie Ridge West Urban Renewal Area.

The board will consider a county truck engine break ordinance, a Pella Board of Adjustments appointment, on-demand services for Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance for Community Development, and there will be a public hearing and possible action regarding vacation of road segments in Otley. Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at 9:00 am at 3014 E Main St. in Knoxville.
