The PCM girls basketball team dominated Chariton 51-16 on the road Friday night in their season opener.
The Mustangs jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back going into halftime up 32-9. PCM continued to impress in the second half and closed out the game holding the Chargers to just 16 points. Freshman Libby Winters led the Mustangs in scoring with 13 points while Tori Lindsay had nine and eight other girls scored for PCM in the contest. The PCM girls start the season 1-0 and will next compete at home on Tuesday night against Knoxville.
