The Pella Community Foundation distributed $200,000 in grants during their annual luncheon on Friday.

President Jim Brandl says the non-profit organization recently completed the 2025 cycle, awarding 39 grants to 35 different groups. He says the projects ranged in scope and with the impact they will have on Pella residents.

“This year, our Distribution Committee was able to fund a record number of grants which
touch a broad cross section of people within our community. The Foundation thanks these nonprofits for helping to fulfill our mission ‘to preserve our heritage and enhance the quality of life for the people of Pella.’ And to those who regularly support the Foundation with contributions and those who have the Community Foundation in their estate plans, we extend our heartfelt thanks.”

The three Impact Grants were awarded to the City of Pella for the Pella Community Indoor Recreation Center project for $50,000, 725 Ministries for their Feeding Relationships project for $15,000, and Spirit of Pella for the Caldwell Park Chiller project for $10,000.
