The Pleasantville boys wrestling team will open their season tonight at Southeast Warren while the girls basketball team will travel to Wayne.

The boys wrestling team will compete at a quad that will feature Southeast Warren, Moravia, and Martensdale St. Marys. Pleasantville will be under the direction of new head coach Micah Mullenix and will return state qualifiers Tommy Booth and Zane Mullenix. Tonight’s quad starts at 5:30 pm.

The girls basketball team is coming off a 61-35 win on Tuesday night over Melcher-Dallas and will now take on a 2-0 Wayne squad who is coming off a 51-38 win over Central Decatur on Tuesday. Tonight’s game at Wayne will start at 7:30 pm.
