The Marion County Humane Society has received a $5,000 donation from Community 1st Credit Union.

This was part of Community 1st’s Giving Tuesday initiative where anyone could vote on a list of several different non-profit organizations to receive this award. The Humane Society received the most votes and was honored with the check. This will help out the Humane Society which continues to be at capacity and is in need of financial support.
