The Knoxville and Pleasantville Dance Teams came away with state championships at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association State Championships held Wednesday-Friday.

Knoxville was state champions in Prop Class II while Pleasantville won state in Pom Class VI. Complete results from Knoxville and Pleasantville below.

Knoxville:

Prop – Class II – STATE CHAMPIONS

Pom – Class X – 9th

Pleasantville:

Pom – Class VI – STATE CHAMPIONS

Novelty – Class II – 5th

Color Guard – Class I – 6th

Color Guard Solo – Class I – Addison Wall, 5th

Iowa hosts the largest state high school dance competition in the nation with 250+ high school teams and a total of more than 5,000 dancers performing more than 600 routines throughout the three-day competition in Des Moines.
