Melcher-Dallas earned a split with Murray on Tuesday as the Saint girls won 55-34 and the boys fell 87-54. In the girls game, the Saints defense was key, only allowing eight points in the 1st half. Addi Wadle scored 22 points while Gabby Overgaard patrolled the inside scoring 13 points., grabbing six rebounds, and blocking seven shots. Maddi DeJong added four points, nine boards, and four steals. The boys, while according to Coach Matt Bennett did a better job distributing the points, were out rebounded again. Three players were in double figures as Reece Chiabotta and Drew Heaberlin scored 13 points and Colton Cox added ten. The Saints host Moulton-Udell on Friday.
