The addition of an elevator at Newton High School is the focus of a school board work session tonight at the high school. Rachelle Hines of FRK Architects and Engineers has estimated it will cost approximately $500,000 to add an elevator that would access all three levels of the high school.
Board members will be shown tonight where the proposed elevator would be located, and can ask the architect more questions.
The Newton School Board work session will begin in the Newton High School’s Library at 5:30 tonight.
