Five more lots have sold in Knoxville’s new Veterans District.

The lots were purchased by Origin Homes who will build five new homes in Knoxville’s newest development. Origin has already built five homes in the development and will now continue to add on to the Veterans District. With these five new lots purchased, 20 of 34 lots have been sold in the district in Phase One. In addition to homes, the new development will also feature a new apartment building by Huegerich Holdings, which will be a 36 unit market rate rental complex. The five new homes built by Origin will be more diverse in style than the five previously built. Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery looks forward to more homes being built in the Veterans District.

“We were very excited. Origin Homes were one of the first to build out there and they have now purchased an additional five lots. That brings our total to 20 of 34 lots sold out there. There has been some discussion a few months ago in regards to Origin and the homes that will be built there so we’re excited to see some diversity once again out there and what they will build in 2025.”
