The Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad is looking to get back in the gym soon as the Saints have been getting closer and closer to their first win, according to Coach Matt Bennett. He ads Brody Johnson and Drew Heaberlin are the two leading scorers that have traded high scoring honors this season. Bennett likes the idea of not having a go-to player and with multiple scorers.

Bennett: “I can’t say that every single it its the same person, because it’s not. I’m looking forward to Brody and Drew to get hot on the same night, and Reece he’s a gamer, and just smart with his decisions,”

Heaberlin averages 12.7 points per game, while Johnson is scoring 8.7, and Reece Chiabotta has almost eight. Bennett adds Colton Cox is another that can be up there in the scoring. Bennett says Cox needs more confidence and he gets that during break.
