Behind a dominant second half performance, Bo Huston dropped a career-high 27 points as Simpson defended their home court for their first win at home, 87-71, over UW-Whitewater on Saturday.

After leading the Storm (3-8) with nine points in the first half, Huston was nearly unstoppable in the second half, scoring 18 points while shooting 7-for-10 from the field. 18 of Huston’s points came from beyond the arc, while the junior guard collected five rebounds, four assists, and two steals to go along with career night.

Colton Rasmussen and Marcus Haupert delivered clutch performances off the bench, combining for 27 points. Coming off his career-night, Rasmussen hit two 3-pointers en route to 15 points, while Haupert added 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting.
