The Knoxville School Board will consider an appointment for a board vacancy in a special session tonight.

Before the board considers an appointment they will interview interested candidates and then if an appointment is made that person will be given the oath of office. This is to fill the empty seat on the board after Dave Smith recently submitted his resignation. Also at the meeting the board will consider the first reading of the revised school policy regarding cell phones and will consider a revision to the secondary handbook. 

Tonight’s Knoxville School Board meeting will be held at 5:30 pm at the district office.
