Once the calendar hits 2025, the winter season resumes for the Pella athletic teams in full force.

The Dutch boys and girls basketball teams will open in Knoxville for the Red Rock Rivalry renewed, with those first games played on Friday, January 3rd. Both games can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS, starting at 5:45 p.m.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Pella boys, as they welcome defending Class 2A state champions Western Christian on Saturday, January 4th. The varsity contest can be heard on the KRLS2 stream and watched on Pella Dutch Live at 2:00 that afternoon.

Pella’s bowling teams open the new year at Cardinal Lanes against Oskaloosa on January 6th. The Pella boys wrestling team will first begin in a triangular meet at home against Norwalk and Centerville on Tuesday, January 7th.

Pella’s girls wrestlers are off until Saturday, January 11th at Ogden.
