City and County Facility and Office Closures for New Year’s Holiday

Several Newton facilities and city offices will be closing early today for New Year’s Eve. The gates to the Sanitary Landfill will close at 1 p.m. today, while the Newton Public Library will be closing at 2 p.m. All Newton City offices will close at 3 p.m. All city and county facilities and offices will be closed tomorrow for the New Year’s Holiday, and will reopen for normal business hours on Thursday, January 2nd.
