The Iowa Legislative Session begins for 2025 in its 91st Iowa General Assembly next week. Iowa Republicans hold supermajorities in both the house and senate, and leadership has begun rolling out committee assignments ahead of the next round of lawmaking. State Representative Barb Kniff McCulla enters her second term representing Iowa District 37. Kniff McCulla will chair the Labor and Workforce Committee, and serve on the following: Economic Growth and Technology, Education, International Relations, Labor and Workforce, Local Government, and Economic Development Appropriations.
