Warren County Health Services reminds residents about the importance of vaccinating children, and keeping them up to date on the shots that they need. Warren County Health Services Director Dr. Joelle Stolte tells KNIA News the CDC says that vaccination throughout childhood is essential to help provide immunity before children are exposed to potentially life-threatening diseases, and that vaccines are tested to ensure that they are safe and effective for children to receive at the recommended ages. Warren County Health Services also reminds parents that the COVID-19 vaccination is available to kids over the age of six months, and is perfectly safe.
