The Knoxville School Board Approved the 2025-2026 school calendar at their meeting Monday night.

School will start for students on August 25th and will be done for the year on May 28th, 2026. Holiday break next school year would take place from December 20th – January 4th and spring break would be the week of March 16th. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says next year’s calendar will be similar to this year but one change would be adding several long weekends. 

“We have worked in some additional Friday vacation days just to help our staff. They really need some breathing time in a couple of months where it just feels like there is so much going on and it’s hard to get caught up. We’ve put a few extra vacation days on Friday’s scattered throughout the year.”
