An open house and ribbon cutting was held Thursday for the new Marion County Bank drive up location in Knoxville.

The community came out to tour the new facility, which is located at 1005 W Pleasant St. in Knoxville just south of the former drive up facility and opened for business on January 3rd. This was also an opportunity for community members to connect with Marion County Bank staff and celebrate this new addition with the chamber of commerce ribbon cutting. Marion County Bank Regional Vice President Dylan Morse says this new facility will be a great addition to Knoxville and is in a location which sees a lot of traffic.

“This is a fantastic spot for them, it’s right on Highway 14 right at the intersection there of Pleasant St. I think it is one of the top two busiest intersections in town. It sees a lot of eyeballs, it sees a lot of traffic, both vehicle and foot traffic. I just hope it’s an enhancement to the customer experience as they’re doing business with us.”
